The Parsonage at Dunmore | Wedding Photography | Maria & Konstantin
Sometimes my job feels like being a kid in a sweet shop.
I like seeing things I haven't seen before at weddings. Gives a little extra interesting spice to the familiar scenes of beautiful human interactions & emotions that I have the privilege to document so regularly ;-) Maria & Konstantin really went to town with giving me new wedding experiences. With lots of Russian and Ukranian family present there were a bunch of wedding traditions I hadn't seen before, not to mention some interesting speeches! A new venue for me too - the awesome Parsonage at Dunmore Park, which gave us access to some incredible backdrops, and a nearby field with views which could almost be mistaken for scenery in the Italian countryside.
But, as always, the real magic comes from the couple themselves and their friends and family, and I just get to watch that magic unfold :-) From giddy bridesmaids, to emotional parents, to scrambling through the countryside, to beautiful light, to impromptu dance practise, to unwieldy veils, this wedding had it all. Oh, and a building shaped like a Pineapple. Let's not forget that.
And a solo jazz saxophonist.
It also has to be said that this wedding now holds the current record for best first dance routine ever. You really don't get too many like that. And gladly, the rest of the guests also did their level best to dethrone the new, current champions ;-)
